It's a wrap for the magazine, something that rarely (if ever) is done in that publication (Süddeutsche Zeitung is something like the New York Times, the Magazin is a supplement which appears every friday and mostly contains cultural issues). Apple seems to have spent all their advertising budget for Germany in one day...

Found at Daniel J. Schmit: Shelob's Lair and Spiderman from Sean Porter's Club 4th website (Hartley Elementary in Lincoln Nebraska). The context suggests that they are made with iStopMotion.
