Rochester Insider: Mac animation gets easier.
It is amazing to see where iStopMotion gets coverage. Rochester, NY! The Rochester Insider is a free weekly from the Democrat and Chronicle. The current issue has a short piece by Staff Writer Stephen Jacobs who thinks, that thanks to iStopMotion, "Mac animation gets easier".
South Australian Government recommends iStopMotion
The Department of Education and Children's Services of the Government of South Australia has a nice page on Clay animation. They write: The best approach to animation on the Mac is to use a firewire digital movie camera as the capture device. With animation software you only need to capture still images but in using the iStopMotion software the movie camera is an ideal source of still images with real time capture. The main page has some examples and states: The tools to achieve high quality clay animation were once beyond the reach of schools but now the tools are either free or very inexpensive.
