Tiverton High School Animation workshop
"As part of a project organised by the Digital Media Education Centre in Exeter, 15 year 10 students created short animated films inspired by the work of South African artist William Kentridge. [...] The films were made using the stop motion animation technique. Students used digital video cameras connected to Apple Powerbook laptops and a piece of software called iStopmotion to film the scenes of their films. They then used iMovie to edit the scenes together, and to add sound effects. The ŒGarageband‚ software was used to create musical soundtracks to some of the films, and was then added to the films in iMovie. The finished films were then burned onto DVD using iDVD."
